SeniorSOS.help provides monitoring and personal care services. Our home care services are designed to provide assistance with those activities that seniors need assistance with so that they can remain at home safely and with dignity. Our home care services may include fall prevention, medication and fluid reminders, light housekeeping, nursing or assistance with bathing and errands.

Our goal is to create a well-known line of communication that citizens will be able to refer to if they need food or any necessities via delivery. The emphasis is on daily care and communication. It has been proven that mental health in the elderly is directly related to regular communication with close or familiar people.

Elderly people (people over 65) and people with disabilities in the Republic of Croatia are our main concern. It should be emphasized that these services can be used by all persons, regardless of age. For many families, home care services provide a beneficial choice - a safe and affordable solution that supports the family while allowing your loved ones to remain in the comfort of their own homes and communities.
Home care provides compassion and assistance to seniors who need assistance with daily activities. Levels of care vary depending on need and can range from weekly meal prep to incontinence help.
Home care providers understand the nuances of senior care, so they can be attentive and proactive in determining the appropriate care needed for each senior.

The idea for this project came from a personal experience when my father had a stroke last year. He lives alone. Fortunately, I was just at his place for lunch. I'll never forget the sound of the thump when he fell in the other room. His hand got stuck between the chair and the table and that's how I found him. Before I saw him, I teased him and said, 'hey, what's going on there, haven't you had a little too much to drink?'

What haunted me later was the realization of what would have happened if I had only come tomorrow? Or the day after tomorrow? If I hadn't been there and called 911, my father might not be alive today.

As with Tomislav, I have personal reasons why I support this service. My aunt fell on the balcony of her own house 2 years ago. On that occasion, she broke her arm, which got stuck in the fence. She was stuck all night while it was raining. In the morning, neighbors noticed her and firefighters responded quickly. Surprisingly, she didn't even have a cold!

But sometimes we still need to understand the messages that are sent to us in this way. We must be prepared in advance for crisis situations. Prevention is the best way to fight accidents.
